NHI helped establish the manufacture and use of standard idler pulleys for original equipment manufacturers more than 40 years ago. In 1990, we became a more complete supplier and pioneered the production of split-formed steel drive pulleys. Today we’ve expanded our expertise by engineering standard NHI components into custom products designed to meet special needs and applications.
NHI offers five basic lines of drive and idler pulleys to meet your specified application needs:

With the purchase of H. Neuman & Company in 1999, we expanded our product lines to include synchronous timing pulleys. As a proven supplier of synchronous pulleys since 1946, Neuman is known for design, precise machining and assembly of products in both catalog and “Made to Order.” Neuman’s manufacturing capabilities of turning and machining (sometimes in the same machine), hobbing, and final assembly produce parts to exact specifications.
